1977 - July 01

Conversation A - Vṛndāvana

vanipedia.org 		Chant Hare Kṛṣṇa, and everything will be clear. Ceto-darpaṇa-mārjanam (CC Antya 20.12). The more you chant, the spiritual life will be revealed. So it is very easy: Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/ Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma... As much as possible, you chant. Then everything will be revealed, and you'll be able to do something. I started this movement simply by chanting.

vanipedia.org 		They felt an ecstasy. So continue this ideas, and they will be very innocent and transcendental. It has nothing to do with material contact. Material contamination cannot touch it. Your country, very vast and big. Some of them have become (indistinct). Hare Kṛṣṇa. But during Ratha-yātrā, everyone will be shown. Such a nice festival. Everyone will be forced to give. That is beginning.

They have dedicated their life for spiritual—although this material service is also spiritual—but they are not doing much (indistinct). You cannot expect a very expertly at management and... But they act. Simply ask them to do the needful.

Conversation A - Vṛndāvana

vanipedia.org 		This should be the motto, how we engage our life, our money, our intelligence, our words, to improve Krsna consciousness. That is success.

vanipedia.org 		To earn money is not difficult, at least for me. But to save money is difficult thing, because that is not in my hand. So let us see how much money we save. Increase the income, that we can do. And there is no problem. I think this is a maxim that "To earn money is not difficult. To save money is difficult." Whatever property we have now made, Kṛṣṇa has given us. But now, to maintain this, to save this prestigious position, that is difficult. Little mismanagement, there may be so many difficulties.
Conversation B - Vṛndāvana

Letter to Postmaster written from Vṛndāvana

vanipedia.org 		I authorize the Postmaster of Vrndavana to deliver registered insured articles, parcels and money orders addressed to me to my messenger, Sri Tamal Krsna Gosvami, whose signature appears below, and on the Postmaster's delivery of such articles and paying such money orders to Sri Tamal Krsna Gosvami and obtaining the letter's receipt, I free the Post Office from all responsibility in respect of such articles and money orders.


1977 - July 05

Conversation A - Vṛndāvana

vanipedia.org 		Kṛṣṇa incarnation appears according to the particular planet and climate, er, planet. Just like churning. That is in higher planetary system. There are persons like that. It is not improper. And we are comparing with us, that "We cannot churn. Therefore there is no churning." That is our disease, to simply compare with our position.

Tamāla Kṛṣṇa: Right. He says that he has a plan. "We want to inlay the thrones for the new temple with beautiful shells if it is permitted."
Prabhupāda: Oh, yes.
Tamāla Kṛṣṇa: He's says he's trying to increase the book distribution by arranging a big door-to-door program.
Prabhupāda: That is my earnest desire. Fulfill it.

Letter to All G.B.C. and All Temple Presidents written from Vṛndāvana

vanipedia.org 		Now that Srila Prabhupada has named these representatives, Temple Presidents may henceforward send recommendation for first and second initiation to whichever of these eleven representatives are nearest their temple. After considering the recommendation, these representatives may accept the devotee as an initiated disciple of Srila Prabhupada by giving a spiritual name, or in the case of second initiation, by chanting on the Gayatri thread, just as Srila Prabhupada has done.

At least they are accepting there is some higher authority.

How you can make compromise? Therefore they say "emasculated." In your country also. "Why? What is the wrong, illicit sex? What is the wrong, intoxication?" They say, "Brainwash. Why not?" Is it not? It is very difficult to push on this movement. Still, we are going. That is Kṛṣṇa's grace.

The example is just like a man like me, he's diseased, he's suffering. And when they say, "Mother Yaśodās' crying," "So again crying?" He does not know what is this crying. He thinks this crying and that crying the same. Therefore Māyāvādī. They want to make it zero—no crying. But we take it a great blessing, crying for Kṛṣṇa.

If they are all in good condition, the health is all right. And now, at the present moment, I am suffering because my belly department is not working nicely. So we cannot neglect any department.
