"In this age, Kali-yuga, there is incarnation of God. What is that, incarnation of God? Now He's tviṣa-akṛṣṇam, His bodily complexion is not black. Kṛṣṇa is blackish, but He is Kṛṣṇa, that Lord Caitanya. Lord Caitanya. Kṛṣṇa. And what is His business? Now, kṛṣṇa-varṇam. He's always chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare, Hare Rāma Hare..., varṇayati. Kṛṣṇa-varṇaṁ tviṣākṛṣṇam and saṅgopaṅgāstra-pārṣadam (SB 11.5.32). He's associated... You see the picture. He's associated with four others. And in this picture also you see, associated. So you put this picture or form before you and just go on chanting and dancing. This is worship."

"Before Lord Caitanya, the places of pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa was forgotten. People knew only that 'In these quarters Kṛṣṇa was born and His pastimes was played here'. But no particular places were excavated. But Caitanya Mahāprabhu... After Caitanya Mahāprabhu sent Sanātana Gosvāmī, the importance of that tract of land known as Mathurā-Vṛndāvana became very important. The importance of that city is due to this Sanātana Gosvāmī, because Sanātana Gosvāmī was authorized to go there and establish temple. So after Sanātana Gosvāmī and Rūpa Gosvāmī, hundreds and thousands of temples were constructed, and there are at least five thousand temples now, after Sanātana Gosvāmī."

Prabhupāda: There are two slogans. One Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa. And another short, is Hari bol, Hari bol. You can practice also that. Hari bol.

Devotee: Hari bol.
Prabhupāda: Yes. Hari... that is shortcut of Hare Kṛṣṇa. Yes. Hari bol. Hari bol means 'the sound of Hari, or the Lord', Hari bol. So whenever there was some greeting, Caitanya Mahāprabhu used to answer, raising His hands, 'Hari bol'.

Nectar Drops from Srila Prabhupada
"The spirit is eternal, Na hanyate hanyamāne śarīre: (BG 2.20) 'Even after the destruction of this body, the consciousness is not destroyed'. That continues. Rather, consciousness transferred to another type of body makes me again alive to the material conception of life. That is also described in the Bhagavad-gītā, Yaṁ yaṁ vāpi smaran bhāvaṁ tyajaty ante kalevaram (BG 8.6). At the time of death, if our consciousness is pure, then that next life is not material, next life's pure spiritual life. But if our consciousness is not pure at the point of the verge of death, just leaving this body, then we have to take again this material body. That is the process going on by nature's law."
