According to the dictionary, madness is a behavior or a thinking which is foolish or dangerous. Usually we think that madness is a disease or a condition which concerns only a few unfortunate people because of some genetic dispositions or traumatizing circumstances. But actually, nowadays the whole human society falls into the category of maddess. There is hardly a sane person, as everyone is acting foolishly and dangerously by not serving their real interest as spiritual souls. Therefore they are harming themselves and other living entities.

Srila Prabhupada's books, lectures, conversations and letters offer a comprehensive presentation of this essential subject as seen in the Vaniquotes Madness category. An introduction from his books is given below in the following 12 quotes.
