- यथा दीपो निवातस्थो नेङ्गते सोपमा स्मृता ।
- योगिनो यतचित्तस्य युञ्जतो योगमात्मनः ॥१९॥
- yathā dīpo nivāta-stho
- neṅgate sopamā smṛtā
- yogino yata-cittasya
- yuñjato yogam ātmanaḥ
SYNONYME
yathā — wie; dīpaḥ — eine Lampe; nivāta-sthaḥ — an einem Ort ohne Wind; na — nicht; iṅgate — flackert; sā — dieser; upamā — Vergleich; smṛtā — wird betrachtet; yoginaḥ — des yogī; yata-cittasya — dessen Geist beherrscht ist; yuñjataḥ — ständig beschäftigt; yogam — in Meditation; ātmanaḥ — über die Transzendenz.
ÜBERSETZUNG
So wie ein Licht an einem windstillen Ort nicht flackert, bleibt auch der Transzendentalist, dessen Geist beherrscht ist, in seiner Meditation über das transzendente Selbst immer stetig.
ERLÄUTERUNG
Ein wahrhaft Kṛṣṇa-bewußter Mensch, der immer in der Transzendenz verankert ist und ununterbrochen und ungestört über seinen verehrungswürdigen Herrn meditiert, ist so beständig wie ein Licht an einem windstillen Ort.
