As of today we have created 5,670 categories, 13,260 pages (10,241 are completed and 3,019 are in process) and there are now 110,889 quotes drawn from the following places.
- 5,359 quotes from Bhagavad-gītā As It Is
- 26,548 quotes from Śrīmad Bhāgavatam
- 9,205 quotes from Śrī Caitanya Caritāmṛta
- 6,864 quotes from other books by Śrīla Prabhupāda
- 30,937 quotes from Śrīla Prabhupāda's lectures
- 14,974 quotes from Śrīla Prabhupāda's conversations
- 17,002 quotes from Śrīla Prabhupāda's correspondence
Once completed we estimate that Vaniquotes will have around 6,000 categories, 108,000 pages, and somewhere between 1 to 2 million quotes.
- Our first goal is to create - 130,000 quotes (85% done) and 10,800 completed pages (95% done)
- To achieve this by the end of 2009, we will have to compile an average of 1,032 quotes a day and complete an average of 35 pages a day. This will be a challenge but possible as more devotees take up the compiling process.
