"Παρά το ότι μπαίνουμε στην διαδικασία να κάνουμε λιτότητα και να υιοθετούμε άλλες αυστηρές αρχές όπως να ελέγχουμε τις αισθήσεις και τον νου μέσω της απάρνησης, και υπάρχουν τόσοι πολλοί τρόποι για να ανυψώσει κανείς τον εαυτό του πνευματικά, που απαιτούνται να γίνουν, χρειάζεται να προσπαθήσουμε να ανυψώσουμε τον εαυτό μας. Εάν προσπαθούμε να κρατάμε τον εαυτό μας στο ίδιο επίπεδο με τις τάσεις των ζώων, τότε θα γίνουμε σαν τα ζώα. Για παράδειγμα, εάν εισαχθείς σε κάποιο εκπαιδευτικό ίδρυμα ή σχολή και δεν εκμεταλλευτείς την ευκαιρία αυτή, θα παραμείνεις στο ίδιο μορφωτικό επίπεδο με αυτό που είχες όταν μπήκες στην σχολή. Εάν δεν εκμεταλλευτείς την εκπαιδευτική αυτή ευκαιρία, θα παραμείνεις ανόητος ή αγράμματος ή αδαής. Με τον ίδιο τρόπο, σε αυτήν την ανθρώπινη μορφή ύπαρξης, εάν δεν εκμεταλλευτείς την γνώση που σου έχουν αφήσει οι μεγάλοι σοφοί ή η Ανώτερη Προσωπικότητα του Θεού, τότε είναι σαν να μπαίνεις στην εκπαιδευτική ζωή αλλά να μην την εκμεταλλεύεσαι σωστά και αυτό θα σου φέρει αποτυχία στις τελικές εξετάσεις."
