śrī-śuka uvāca
yatir yayātiḥ saṁyātir
āyatir viyatiḥ kṛtiḥ
ṣaḍ ime nahuṣasyāsann
indriyāṇīva dehinaḥ

śrī-śukaḥ uvāca—Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī dijo; yatiḥ—Yati; yayātiḥ—Yayāti; saṁyātiḥ—Saṁyāti; āyatiḥ—Āyati; viyatiḥ—Viyati; kṛtiḥ—Kṛti; ṣaṭ—seis; ime—todos ellos; nahuṣasya—del rey Nahuṣa; āsan—fueron; indriyāṇi—los (seis) sentidos; iva—como; dehinaḥ—de un alma encarnada.


TRADUCCIÓN

Śukadeva Gosvāmī dijo: ¡Oh, rey Parīkṣit!, del mismo modo que el alma encarnada tiene seis sentidos, el rey Nahuṣa tuvo seis hijos: Yati, Yayāti, Saṁyāti, Āyati, Viyati y Kṛti.
