Die Buddhisten sind in erster Linie Atheisten, aber Lord Buddha ist eine Inkarnation von Kṛṣṇa, daher wird im Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam gesagt, dass Gott, Kṛṣṇa, als Lord Buddha erschienen ist, um die Atheisten zu überlisten. Die Atheistische Klasse glaubte nicht an Gott, aber Buddha trat vor sie und sagte: "Ja, es gibt keinen Gott, das ist richtig, aber was immer ich sage, nehmt es an."
