Supporting the Vanipedia project

All endeavors in this world require some financial assistance. As Vanipedia is a free online encyclopedia we are going to need generous support from many persons in order to complete the vision of Vanipedia. The platform of the web does offer a very good value for money so potential donors can be satisfied that their offerings will bring about a maxmimun result in teaching the science of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Giving charity is a noble jest and Śrīla Prabhupāda explains in the 11th chapter of Bhagavad-gītā that "charity given to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness, is the greatest charity in the world". Why is that? - because "Kṛṣṇa consciousness is a benediction to humanity", and those who help in any way to assist that benediction to be given offer the greatest charity.

BG 11.54, Purport: As far as charity is concerned, it is plain that charity should be given to the devotees of Kṛṣṇa who are engaged in His devotional service to spread the Kṛṣṇa philosophy, or Kṛṣṇa consciousness, throughout the world. Kṛṣṇa consciousness is a benediction to humanity. Lord Caitanya was appreciated by Rūpa Gosvāmī as the most munificent man of charity because love of Kṛṣṇa, which is very difficult to achieve, was distributed freely by Him. So if one gives some amount of his money to persons involved in distributing Kṛṣṇa consciousness, that charity, given to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness, is the greatest charity in the world.

We are convinced that the more Śrīla Prabhupāda's teachings become available and understood the more chances that Kṛṣṇa consciousness can be successfully spread. Vanipedia is dedicated uniquely to this one goal.

Donating money to Vanipedia is a much appreciated Vaniseva. We thank all our supporters, and pray that they can receive the full blessings of Śrīla Prabhupāda and Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa.

All donations small or large are welcome.

your servants,
the Vaniseva team
