"En una jaula de oro, hay un pájaro. Si no le das nada de comer al pájaro y simplemente lavas muy bien la jaula, oh, siempre habrá, (imita al pájaro) 'chi chi chi chi chi'. ¿Por qué? El verdadero pájaro es ignorado. Solo la cubierta exterior. La gente está tratanto de pulir el cuerpo y la mente. Primero que nada ellos tratan de pulir el cuerpo. Esta es la civilización material. Muy buena vestimenta, muy buena comida, muy lindo apartamento, un auto muy lindo o muy buen disfrute de los sentidos- todo es muy bueno. Pero eso es para este cuerpo. Y cuando alguien está frustrado con este lindo cuerpo, entonces va hacia la mente: poesía, especulación mental, LSD, marihuana, bebidas y muchas cosas. Todo esto es mental. Realmente la felicidad no está en el cuerpo ni en la mente. La verdadera felicidad se encuentra en el espíritu."
