Lecture BG 13.05 - Paris
Nectar Drops from Srila Prabhupada
"Real solution is that: Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Therefore the Vedānta-sūtra says, athāto brahma jijñāsā: 'Now you don't inquire for any other things'. Why should you? All other things required by you, that is already supplied. It will be supplied. Why you bother? You just try to understand the value of your life in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. That is your only business. Tasyaiva hetoḥ prayateta kovidaḥ. Kovida: 'Those who are intelligent', tasyaiva hetoḥ, 'for that thing', prayateta, 'endeavor'. So try to get that thing. For that thing... Na labhyate yad bhramatām upary adhaḥ (SB 1.5.18). Just like people are struggling. Wherever you go, material world, either you go to London or go to Paris or to Calcutta or Bombay, anywhere you go, what is the business? Everyone is struggling: whoosh-whoosh-whoosh-whoosh-whoosh-whoosh-whoosh. Day and night the motorcar going this way, that way, this way, that way. Last night I was speaking with Śrutakīrti. Wherever we go, we see this nonsense thing, whoosh-whoosh-whoosh-whoosh-whoosh-whoosh-whoosh. Any city you go, the same road, same motorcar, same whoosh-whoosh, same petrol, that's all." (laughter).

Lecture BG 02.12 - London
Nectar Drops from Srila Prabhupada
"We are taking so much care of this body, but the ultimate end of this body is either stool, earth or ashes. So foolish persons who are in the bodily concept of life, they are thinking, "After all, this body will be finished. So, so long the body is there, senses are there, let us enjoy. Why so much restrictions—no illicit sex, no gambling, no...? These are all nonsense. Let us enjoy life." This is atheistic life. Foolish life. They do not know. So the body is not all. This is the first lesson to understand, what is spiritual life, what is spiritual knowledge. But all rascals, they do not know. Therefore Kṛṣṇa first of all slapped Arjuna: aśocyān anvaśocas tvaṁ prajñā-vādāṁś ca bhāṣase (BG 2.11). 'You do not know what is the fact, and talking like a very learned man. Just try to understand what is truth.' Na tv evāhaṁ jātu (BG 2.12)."

Nectar Drops from Srila Prabhupada
"We have recited Brahma-saṁhitā today, cintāmaṇi-prakara-sadmasu kalpa-vṛkṣa-lakṣā-vṛteṣu surabhīr abhipālayantam (Bs. 5.29). Kṛṣṇa is engaged in tending cows. He's very much fond of cows. Surabhi. They are not ordinary cows. In the spiritual world, everything is spiritual. So there is a planet, goloka-nāmni. So that is the highest planet. Goloka-nāmni nija-dhāmni. That is the personal abode. Goloka-nāmni nija-dhāmni tale ca tasya (Bs. 5.43). Under that planet, there are other planetary systems. They are called Devī-dhāma, Maheśa-dhāma, Hari-dhāma. Now this universe, this material world, is called Devī-dhāma. Devī-dhāma. It is under the control of the material energy. Sṛṣṭi-sthiti-pralaya-sādhana-śaktir-eka chāyeva yasya bhuvanāni vibharti durgā (Bs. 5.44). This energy is also personified, called Durgādevī."

Lecture SB 01.01.04 - London
Nectar Drops from Srila Prabhupada
"Our eyes, we have got closing, eyelid closes. But Viṣṇu's eyelids never closes. Therefore He is called animiṣa. Therefore gopīs condemned Brahmā, that 'Why you have awarded us these nonsense eyelids? (laughter) Sometimes closes the eye; we cannot see Kṛṣṇa'. This is gopīs' desire, they want to see Kṛṣṇa always, without being disturbed by the eyelids. This is Kṛṣṇa consciousness. The moment the eyes are being closed by the eyelids is intolerable by them. This is perfection of Kṛṣṇa consciousness."

Nectar Drops from Srila Prabhupada
"So here you have to understand that the river, the ocean, the mountains and the trees and the creepers, they will all serve you very, I mean to say, regularly, provided you are obedient to Kṛṣṇa. This is the process. Phalanty oṣadhayaḥ. Nowadays we do not know. As soon as we become sick we go to the doctor or to the drug shop. But in the forest, all the medicines are there. All the medicines are there. Simply you have to know which plant is the medicine for what kind of disease. Phalanty oṣadhayaḥ sarvāḥ, and kāmam anvṛtu tasya vai. And according to seasonal changes you'll get fruits, flowers and drugs and everything. During Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira's time all these things were being supplied by nature because Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira was Kṛṣṇa conscious, and he maintained his kingdom, all the citizens, Kṛṣṇa conscious."

Lecture BG 02.26-27 - London
Nectar Drops from Srila Prabhupada
"So the karma-vāda, that you follow morality you'll get good results... But where is your morality? Because you are disobedient to God. In the beginning of your life, you are immoral. You are disobeying the greatest authority. There is another example, a story, that a gang of thieves, they stolen some property from different houses, then out of the village they are dividing amongst themselves the booties. So one thief is saying, 'Please divide it morally so that one may not be cheated'. Now just imagine, the property is stolen. Where is the morality there? But when dividing, they are thinking of morality. The basic principle is immoral. Where you can have morality? Similarly, according to Vedic injunction, īśāvāsyam idaṁ sarvam (ISO 1): Everything belongs to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. It is His property. So the whole planet is God's property, whole universe is God's property. But when you are claiming that 'This is my property', then where is morality?"
