Devotee (1): Bhagavad-gītā, that prakṛteḥ kriyamāṇāni... Prabhupāda: ...guṇaiḥ karmāṇi sarvaśaḥ (BG 3.27). Yes, and prakṛti is working under the direction of Kṛṣṇa. That means..., nature's law means Kṛṣṇa's law or Kṛṣṇa's plan. So what is the Kṛṣṇa's plan? What Kṛṣṇa wants? |

"If you are thinking like a demon, then you get the demon's body next life. And if you are thinking like a devotee, then you get your next life back to home, back to Godhead. This is nature's law. Therefore, if you practice instead of thinking like the demons, how to gratify senses... That is the demonic thought. They are concerned with this body. If you think of Kṛṣṇa, how to serve Him, that is your perfection of life." |

"The modern civilization, they are not taking care of the spirit soul; they are simply taking care of the machine, body. Therefore the problems are there. You asked, 'How to solve the problems?' The problems are there on account of this, that they are not taking care of the driver; they are simply taking care of the machine, body. So if you take care of the driver, then he will remain sane, he will drive nicely, the body will not be disastrous, he will live peacefully. This is the problem. If the driver is careful, then he will not require very frequently the mechanical engineer for the car. He'll keep the machine in order. If he keeps himself sane, then he keeps the machine also in order." |

"This body I have been given by God to use it. Just like the farmer takes some land from the government and he tills over it and produces his foodstuff, grain. But he knows that 'Although I am occupier of this field, the real owner is the landlord'. Similarly, if we understand this fact, that God has given me this body to work according to my desire, but the body is not my property; it is the property of God, Kṛṣṇa—this is knowledge." |

"When we have got this human form of life, we should understand, 'How things are happening? How I am getting different types of body? How I am dictated according to the body and I am not happy? Now what is the reason? Then what I am? I do not want distress. Why distress is forced upon me? I do not want to die. Why death is forced upon me? I do not want to become old. I want to remain perpetually young. Why old age is forced upon me?' There are so many things. In this way, when we become intelligent enough and approach Kṛṣṇa or His, Kṛṣṇa's representative, then our life becomes reformed." |

"So whatever little success I have got, it is only for this reason. My Guru Mahārāja said that 'You go and preach whatever you learned in English language'. That's all. So I came here with this faith, that 'My Guru Mahārāja said. I must be successful'. I did not show any jugglery to you, gold-making jugglery. Where is my gold? I came with forty rupees first. (chuckles) So these are Vedic instruction, guru-mukha-padma-vākya, and śrī-guru-caraṇe rati, ei se uttama-gati. That is real progress." |
