Rupa Gosvami says auspicity is that which spreads for everyone, in all parts of the world. That is auspicity; something which is not partial. In social sciences and humanitarian activities, there is partiality for a certain section of people in society. However, the chanting of the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra is meant for all living entities and it awakens the dormant Kṛṣṇa consciousness in them.
