Salvation is often considered as liberation; liberation from this material world to reach into the spiritual skies. While salvation may be considered as the perfection of life, Srila Prabhupada states that there is a stage higher than salvation: transcendental loving service to the Lord. On may engage in this by following the 4 regulative principles, and the instructions of a bona fide spiritual master. All this will then lead one not only to salvation, but to a destination much higher than any type of salvation may result in.
