Sraddha translates to 'faith'. In order to take decisions and progress in our lives, we place our faith on the decision in question. This may include having faith in the people that surround the decision, having faith in ourselves and if we believe in God, then having faith in Him. Similarly, to progress in our spiritual lives, we need to have sraddha (faith), and this needs to be placed firstly on God, then on our spiritual master who is supposed to come from the disciplic succession, and finally, on the devotees, whose constant association will help us to move forward.

Srila Prabhupada's books, lectures, conversations and letters offer a comprehensive presentation of this essential subject as seen in the Vaniquotes Sraddha category. An introduction from his books is given below in the following 7 quotes.
