One should remain always a servant of his spiritual master and present the philosophy as he has heard it from him. This is the secret. One should know this and not try to become overintelligent than his spiritual master. Evam paramparā prāptam imaṁ rājarṣayo viduḥ "This supreme science was thus received through the chain of disciplic succession" (BG 4.2). The spiritual master is the representative of Kṛṣṇa. Guru-kṛṣṇa-kṛpāya pāya bhakti-latā-bīja (CC Madhya 19.151). Without being a representative of Kṛṣṇa, nobody can become a spiritual master. Kṛṣṇa-śakti vinā nahe tāra pravartana. Without being empowered by Kṛṣṇa, nobody can preach, nobody can become a spiritual master.
