In today's world, with the emergence of various religions, one tends to get confused about God. Hence, the very prominent questions by the populace are 'Who is God? Who am I? What is my relation with God?' Vedic scriptures state that God is Lord Krishna, and the Sanskrit term for the Supreme Personality of Godhead is Bhagavan. Some characteristics of Bhagavan as stated in the scriptures are that He is the origin of this cosmic manifestation, He possesses 6 opulences, and that He has multitudes of forms which He can display at any time He likes. Anybody else who claims to be Bhagavan is a fraud, because there can be only one Bhagavan, i.e. Sri Krishna.

Srila Prabhupada's books, lectures, conversations and letters offer a comprehensive presentation of this essential subject as seen in the Vaniquotes Bhagavan category. An introduction from his books is given below in the following 8 quotes.
