INTRODUCTION TEXT TO BE WRITTEN
According to Vedic principles, only the Brahmacaris, the Vanaprasthas, and the Sannyasis are recommended to get free from the problem of earning money. The Grhasthas are supposed to support the 3 sections of the society. The best source of income of some people engaged in Krishna consciousness should be by accepting contributions from the sympathetic public, and selling our own books and literature.

Srila Prabhupada's books, lectures, conversations and letters offer a comprehensive presentation of this essential subject as seen in the Vaniquotes '''[[Vaniquotes:Category:CATEGORYNAME|CATEGORYNAME]]''' category. An introduction from his books is given below in the following NUMBER quotes.

Such a man can earn his livelihood by any means, black or white. During the reign of Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira, all the above symptoms were conspicuous by their absence.
