INTRODUCTION TEXT TO BE WRITTEN
If one accepts a bona fide spiritual master, honor him as a representative of God and please him by submissive service, then by his mercy and pleasure one can understand God and the spiritual world, by revelation. If one can please the spiritual master, who is carrying the message of the Lord without any speculation, then God becomes revealed. So it is the duty of the father and mother to train children in such a way that they will be interested in guru and Kṛṣṇa. By the mercy of guru and Kṛṣṇa, the child will get the bhakti-lātā-bīja - the seed of devotional service in his heart. This is the real goal of life.

In our Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement we therefore change a devotee's name to a form that reminds him of Viṣṇu.
