INTRODUCTION TEXT TO BE WRITTEN
Lord Sri Caitanya preached as one of the Vaisnava acaryas like Ramanujacarya, and His mission was to establish the same theory of deliverance as was propounded by Sri Krishna Himself in the Bhagavad-gita. Caitanya Mahāprabhu's mission was to distribute Kṛṣṇa-prema (love of God), and the mission that he established teaches one on how to love God (which, according to scriptures, is the highest perfection). He entrusted His missionary work to His devotees and assured them of His protection against the onslaught of material affection. The path of spiritual life is stated in the Vedas to be like 'the edge of a sharpened razor'. A little inattentiveness may at once create havoc and bloodshed, but one who is a completely surrendered soul, always seeking protection from the Lord in the discharge of his entrusted duties, has no fear of falling into material contamination.

Srila Prabhupada's books, lectures, conversations and letters offer a comprehensive presentation of this essential subject as seen in the Vaniquotes '''[[Vaniquotes:Category:Mission of Caitanya Mahaprabhu|Mission of Caitanya Mahaprabhu]]''' category. An introduction from his books is given below in the following NUMBER quotes.

But Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's transcendental mission is to distribute love of Godhead to everyone. Anyone who accepts God as the Supreme can take to the process of chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa and become a lover of God. Therefore Lord Caitanya is the most magnanimous. This munificent broadcasting of devotional service is possible only for Kṛṣṇa Himself. Therefore Lord Caitanya is Kṛṣṇa. '''(Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Ādi-līlā 4.41)'''}}

First, He describes the confidential truth of the Personality of Godhead, and second, He satisfies everyone by knowledge and attachment to Kṛṣṇa. He is peaceful because He renounces all topics not related to the service of Kṛṣṇa. '''(Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Ādi-līlā 3.49)'''}}
