In today's day and age, religion in general is a rather contested topic. There are different theories and notions put forward in the name of religion, but whatever they may be, it is clear that as regards to this topic, people in general may be placed into 2 categories; theists and atheists, the former believing in the existence of God and the latter, not. However, this categorization is quite superficial, and in order to obtain greater understanding on this, one may read Srila Prabhupada's writings to grasp this idea better. According to Srila Prabhupada, there are 2 kinds of people; devotees and nondevotees. He explains further that a devotee is one who follows Krishna and accepts the truth about the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and one who does not do so, is a nondevotee.

Srila Prabhupada's books, lectures, conversations and letters offer a comprehensive presentation of this essential subject as seen in the Vaniquotes Nondevotees category. An introduction from his books is given below in the following 10 quotes.
