INTRODUCTION TEXT TO BE WRITTEN
Because we misuse our intelligence in the human form, we sometimes take birth in different life forms like birds, dogs, monkeys and the lowest of living entities. This process of repetition of birth and death stops when we realize our purpose and reason of being in this material world. By forgetting our original constitutional position as servants of the Lord, we are assured to take birth again in this material world. When  our real consciousness - God consciousness - is awakened, we can become aware of our constitutional position. Then we are saved from this repetition of birth and death and we go back home, back to Godhead. Glorifying the Lord is the medicine for this material disease. Material disease means repetition of birth and death. To stop this repetition of birth and death, we have to become servants of the lord and always glorify Him.

Birth, death, old age and disease are related to the material body, and they have nothing to do with the spirit soul. A living entity is as eternal as the Supreme Lord, but due to his forgetfulness he is put into this material nature and transmigrates from one body to another, and when the body is destroyed, he thinks that he is also destroyed. Actually, this forgetfulness of his relationship with Lord Viṣṇu is the cause of his destruction. Anyone who revives his consciousness of the original relationship receives inspiration from the Lord. In the lower planetary system or lower species of life one may die soon, and in the higher planets or higher species one may live for a long, long time, but death is inevitable. This cannot be understood by a nondevotee, but a devotee can see this because he is vipaścit, or learned.
