Surrender to Lord Kṛṣṇa (Krishna) is the most confidential instruction in the Bhagavad-gītā and accepted by devotees as the topmost perfection and highest religious principle. Devotees know well their full dependence on Lord Kṛṣṇa and only accept those things favorable in their devotional service to Lord Kṛṣṇa, and reject everything unfavorable.
